HC Deb 15 September 1914 vol 66 c864
57. Sir WILLIAM BYLES

asked the Under-Secretary of State for War whether he can assure the House that no ammunition known as dum-dum bullets has been, or will be, used by the British troops now in action?

Mr. TENNANT

No ammunition has been issued for use on the Continent which does not comply with the conditions laid down by The Hague Convention.
