§ 32. Mr. BENNETT-GOLDNEYasked the Under-Secretary of State for War whether he is aware that a number of wounded soldiers now in hospitals in Great Britain have experienced considerable difficulty in obtaining their pay now due to them; and if, as in some cases such wounded soldiers have been unable to obtain any pay since they first went abroad, he will give such instructions at 1495 an early date to those concerned as will empower paymasters to pay wounded soldiers on their making a suitable application for the money due to them?
