HC Deb 19 November 1914 vol 68 c552
41. Mr. J. M. HENDERSON

asked the Under-Secretary for War what arrangements are being made to supply the Indian troops at present righting in France and Belgium with warmer clothing than the khaki drill which they usually wear?

Mr. TENNANT

The Indian troops were sent from India equipped on the winter scale and have received flannel shirts and woollen vests and drawers in addition. Arrangements are being made to supply them with serge clothing, consignments of which have already been sent.
