HC Deb 19 May 1914 vol 62 c1760
63. Mr. F. HALL (Dulwich)

asked the hon. Member for St. George's-in-the-East, as representing the Insurance Commissioners, if it is proposed to establish any complete and uniform nursing scheme in connection with the provision of medical and sanatorium benefits under the National Insurance Act, or whether it is left to each insurance committee to frame their own scheme; and how many nurses are at present employed for the purposes of the Act?

Mr. W. BENN

I would refer the hon. Member to the reply given by my right hon. Friend to the hon. Member for the Wilton Division on the 13th May. As regards the last part of the question, I am afraid that I could not give this information without calling for a special return from all approved societies and insurance committees.
