Mr. WATTasked the Secretary to the Treasury whether he is aware that expenses and costs have been charged in the collection of Inland Revenue Taxes in the county of Dumfries; will he say whether a similar process has yet been thought of or adopted in any part of England and Wales; and will he in future take steps to ensure that costs in the collection of taxes will be incurred on the same date 263 in every part of the United Kingdom so as to ensure equality of treatment to all citizens?
