HC Deb 04 May 1914 vol 62 c23
40. Lord A. THYNNE

asked the First Lord of the Admiralty whether officers of the naval wing of the Royal Flying Corps are granted substantive rank in the Royal Navy; and whether, on the determination of their service in the Royal Flying Corps, they will be liable to be sent oh sea service?

The FIRST LORD of the ADMIRALTY (Mr. Churchill)

The conditions of service in the naval wing of the Royal Flying Corps have been the subject of prolonged consideration, and will be made public very shortly.

Mr. JOYNSON-HICKS

Will that apply to officers of the Army wing who are transferred?
