Pease)I have no information as to whether the religious teaching given in the school in question is imparted in accordance with the provisions of the Trust Deed. I may remind the hon. Member that under Section 7 (3) of the Elementary Education Act, 1870, it is no part of the duty of His Majesty's inspector to inquire into any instruction in religious subjects given in a public elementary school.
