asked whether any further steps have been taken with reference to the completion of the Shadwell Park memorial to King Edward VII.?

Mr. BENN

The conveyance of the land has been completed, but progress depends on the success of the Committee in raising the necessary funds.

Mr. HOARE

Is the hon. Member taking steps to bring the authorities together?

Mr. BENN

No such steps are necessary. The land is available. It is only a question of getting the money.
