HC Deb 30 March 1914 vol 60 cc807-8
18. Mr. DOUGLAS HALL

asked the hon. Member for St. George's-in-the-East, as representing the First Commissioner of Works, if, in view of the inquiry now being made into the ventilation of the House, he will immediately take steps to have the last annual cost of ventilating the House separated from Sub-head D in such a way as to give Members the opportunity of forming a conclusion as to whether they get adequate comfort for the amount of public money expended?

Mr. BENN

Perhaps the hon. Member will bring his suggestion to the notice of the Ventilation Committee.
