Mr. CHANCELLORasked the President of the Local Government Board whether he is aware that on the 27th May, Mrs. de Yonge, of Wimbledon, made a declaration under the Vaccination Act, 1907, 554 and paid the usual Court fee of 1s. upon her application being granted by the local bench of magistrates in Petty Session assembled, but that the form, when posted on to the vaccination officer, was refused by him, and the father of the child then had to make a declaration; and whether he is prepared to take steps to ensure the acceptance of such declarations when made by the mothers of children born in wedlock?
