HC Deb 02 July 1914 vol 64 c556
71. Mr. KING

asked the President of the Board of Education whether he is now in a position to make a further statement as to the steps being taken to provide sufficient school accommodation at Ewell, Surrey; and whether the local education authority has promised to open a new school at any definite date?

Mr. PEASE

The site for the new council school has been acquired, and I am informed that the plans of the school will be submitted to the Board for approval next week. No date has been fixed for the completion of the building, but I do not anticipate any delay.
