HC Deb 02 July 1914 vol 64 c547
78. Mr. CASSEL

asked whether in the case of the premises at the corner of Plymouth Street and Queen Street, Cardiff, belonging to Dr. Edwards, the Commissioners raised the valuation after it had become finally settled within the meaning of the Finance (1909–10) Act, 1910; when was the provisional valuation served; was any objection taken within sixty days and, if so, on what day, or was any extension of time allowed; and, if so, when and for what period?

Mr. LLOYD GEORGE

The answer to the first part of the question is in the negative. The provisional valuation was served on the 2nd July, 1913, and a notice of objection, which has not yet been disposed of, was received within sixty days of the date of service. The question of an extension of time accordingly did not arise.
