asked what is the present total number and value of eggs imported into Great Britain: and what proportion of these come from Siberia?

Mr. LEWIS

The total quantity of eggs imported into Great Britain last year was 2,586,855 thousands, of which 1,274,110 thousands came from Russian northern ports. The values were £9,582,476 and £4,401,012 respectively. The imports from Siberia cannot be distinguished.
