HC Deb 23 April 1914 vol 61 cc1113-4
Mr. EUGENE WASON

I bog to ask the Prime Minister a question of which I have given private notice, namely, whether his attention has been called to a notice of Motion standing in the name of the right hon. Gentleman the Member for Clackmannan and Kinross (Mr. Eugene Wason), and in the names of as many other hon. Members as the Rules of this House permit, in the following terms:— "That in the opinion of this House the Leader of the Opposition should substantiate or withdraw without delay in this House the charges of falsehood which he has brought against the Prime Minister."

And whether he will grant the earliest possible day for the discussion of that Motion?

The PRIME MINITSTER

I am waiting for those changes to be formulted. As soon as they are, I will great the earliest possible day in my power.
