HC Deb 20 April 1914 vol 61 c566
13. Mr. C. BATHURST

asked the Post-master-General if, after personal inquiries, he has found it possible to provide the additional postal facilities at Bower Chalk, in the county of Wiltshire, which have been so long demanded by the inhabitants of the village and neighbourhood?

The POSTMASTER-GENERAL (Mr. Hobhouse)

The circumstances have been reviewed, and I am glad to find that it is now practicable to provide a second delivery and dispatch of letters in the village of Bower Chalk without requiring any contribution from the residents towards the additional cost. Arrangements are being made accordingly.
