§ 82. Mr. ASTORasked whether a dependant of an insured person who receives sanatorium benefit under the provisions of Section 17 of the National Insurance Act is entitled to domiciliary treatment?
Mr. BENNIt is open to an insurance committee by whom sanatorium benefit has been extended to dependants to afford either institutional or domiciliary treatment. As the hon. Member is, however, aware, the form of treatment to be given to persons who, by virtue of the committee's recommendation, are entitled to sanatorium benefit, is a matter for the discretion of the committee.
