HC Deb 07 May 1913 vol 52 cc2021-2
6. Lord C. BERESFORD

asked the result of the Admiralty investigation in regard to the wearing of plain clothes by non-commissioned officers below the rank of colour-sergeant and men of the Royal Marine Artillery serving at Eastney Barracks?

Dr. MACNAMARA

The inquiries to which I referred in my answer to the Noble Lord a week ago are still in progress. I do not doubt that the matter is capable of immediate and satisfactory adjustment.

Sir C. KINLOCH-COOKE

May I take it that that answer applies to the question put to the Secretary of State for War last week?

Dr. MACNAMARA

I am not familiar with that question. It was not addressed to me.
