HC Deb 23 June 1913 vol 54 c773
14. Mr. MacCALLUM SCOTT

asked whether an insured woman whose husband was over sixty-five when he became insured, and whose society does not undertake to pay him maternity benefit, is entitled to claim maternity benefit in respect of her own insurance?

Mr. MASTERMAN

The answer is in the negative, for reasons analogous to those given in answer to my hon. Friend on 13th March.

Mr. MacCALLUM SCOTT

May I ask whether this case will be taken into consideration when the new Bill is introduced?

Mr. MASTER MAN

I cannot say anything about that. The hon. Gentleman can easily submit a question dealing with this case.
