§ The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the WAR OFFICE (Mr. Tennant)On the 1st May last the Cavalry of the Line and Infantry of the Line at home were 123 men and 6,761 men respectively under establishment. The figures for undismissed recruits are not available at the War Office. As regards the last part of the question it is not considered expedient to publish information concerning mobilisation arrangements.
