HC Deb 09 June 1913 vol 53 cc1237-8
23. Sir ARTHUR GRIFFITH-BOSCAWEN

had given notice of the following question: To ask the President of the Local Government Board whether he will lay upon the Table of the House the Report of Mr. Williams, the inspector of the Local Government Board who investigated in South Wales the condition of the houses inhabited by those in receipt of outdoor relief, and which was made in consequence of communications addressed to the Board by members of the late Poor Law Commission after they had visited the district?

I have been asked by the right hon. Gentleman to postpone this question. Will he allow me to see the Report before the Local Government Board Vote is taken next Thursday?

The PRESIDENT of the LOCAL GOVERNMENT BOARD (Mr. Burns)

I have only asked the hon. Member to postpone this question until to-morrow so that I can give the fullest information, which the question implied he was anxious to secure.

Sir A. GRIFFITH-BOSCAWEN

I will put it down for to-morrow.
