HC Deb 29 July 1913 vol 56 cc292-3
45. Captain FABER

asked the Prime Minister if he has had brought to his notice the document signed by forty doctors as to the desirability of a Royal Commission being appointed to inquire into the ravages of venereal disease, of which there are about 40,000 cases of the gravest character each year; and whether he will appoint such a Commission?

The PRIME MINISTER

I must refer the hon. and gallant Member to the answer which I gave yesterday on this subject to the hon. Member for Stirlingshire.
