1. Mr. FREDERICK HALL (Dulwich)asked the First Lord of the Admiralty whether a Special Committee is now considering the question of the supply of oil fuel for the Navy; if so, whether the Committee is dealing with the question of the kinds of oil best fitted for the purposes required; and when it is expected that the Report of the Committee will be issued?
§ The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the ADMIRALTY (Dr. Macnamara)I assume that the hon. Member refers to a technical Committee of the Royal Commission. I can only refer him to the reply given by my right hon. Friend to the hon. Member for Chippenham a week ago.
Mr. F. HALLCan the right hon. Gentleman give the House some information as to the result the Committee have arrived at? We know nothing about it.
§ Dr. MACNAMARAA reply has been given.
