HC Deb 17 July 1913 vol 55 c1414
28. Major ANSTRUTHER-GRAY

asked the Secretary for Scotland whether he will consider the advisability of the Local Government (Adjustments) Bill being extended to Scotland; and whether he will introduce an Amendment to that effect?

Mr. URE

I would refer the hon. and gallant Member to the answer which I gave to my Friend the Member for Stirlingshire yesterday.

Major ANSTRUTHER-GRAY

Is the right hon. Gentleman aware that there is a great consensus of opinion in Scotland in favour of this object?

Mr. URE

Yes; I am perfectly aware of that.

Major ANSTRUTHER-GRAY

Will the right hon. Gentleman convey it to the Secretary for Scotland?

Mr. URE

Yes.
