Mr. COOPERasked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury the number of insured persons suffering from tuberculosis who have applied for treatment in the borough of Walsall and the number who have received treatment, distinguishing between those who have received treatment in sanatoria or other institutions and in their homes?
Mr. MASTER MANThe number of applicants for sanatorium benefit in Walsall from the 15th July, 1912, to the 30th April last was ninety-four, of whom three were ineligible for benefit. The number who received treatment was eighty-six, of whom forty-four were treated in sanatoria and forty-two at home.
