§ Mr. MASTERMANSpeaking generally, all permanent pensionable officers in Government Departments are required to give their whole time to their official duties. Particulars of extra remuneration paid to officials in addition to salary are given under the several Votes in the annual Appropriation Accounts. A number of Departments employ part-time officers with the right of private practice, but I am unable to furnish a complete list.
