asked how many old people, in receipt of outdoor relief in London at the date when pauper disqualification for an old age pension was removed, transferred themselves to the pension list?

According to the special Return (Command Paper 5612), which was obtained from boards of guardians and presented to Parliament in March, 1911, the number of persons in London who were outdoor paupers on the 31st December, 1910, and who received old age pensions and ceased to be chargeable to guardians during the four weeks ended 28th January, 1911, was 10,524.
