HC Deb 16 January 1913 vol 46 c2256
71. Mr. FELL

asked when the right hon. Gentleman will be able to give the particulars of the total number of persons insured under the National Insurance Act for England, Wales, Scotland, and Ireland, respectively, distinguishing those in approved societies, deposit contributors, and voluntary contributors; and, if the numbers are not complete, why he will not give the numbers up to the last date available?

Mr. MASTERMAN

I hope the classification of cards into the categories mentioned will be complete within a few weeks, and I shall then be glad to give the information asked for. If the hon. Member will consider what a classification of cards is he will understand that any attempt to give such figures as he asks for while it is still being made would be entirely useless.
