asked the hon. Member for St. George's-in-the-East, as representing the First Commissioner of Works, if he can say when the structural work of refronting Buckingham Palace is to be commenced, and when it is expected to be completed?

As at present arranged, the refronting will be commenced on the 1st of August next and will be completed about the end of October.
