§ Dr. MACNAMARAMy right hon. Friend has asked me to read his reply as follows: I understand that since the commencement of the strike at the works of the New Explosives Company, Stowmarket, the firm have made certain advances in rates of wages previously in force, and that the employes who have resumed work are being paid in accordance with the new schedule of wages. I propose to see whether that satisfies the Fair-Wages Clause.
