  1. (1) An offence under this Act declared to be a crime and offence shall be punishable by fine or by imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years, with or without hard labour.
  2. (2) Any other offence under this Act shall be punishable summarily with imprisonment for a term not exceeding three months, with or without hard labour, or with a fine not exceeding fifty pounds.

Lords Amendment: In Sub-section (1), after the word "offence," insert the words "for which no special penalty is provided by this Act."
