HC Deb 29 April 1913 vol 52 c993
48. Mr. F. HALL

asked if the Committee of Imperial Defence have considered and made any recommendations with regard to the shortage of men in the Territorial Forces, and the proportion of inefficient; and, if not, whether it is proposed to bring these questions before that Committee?

It is not expedient to say more at present than that the adequacy of the military forces for home defence, including the Territorial Force, will doubtless come under review in the course of the present inquiry into the question of attack from oversea.
