HC Deb 28 April 1913 vol 52 c779
11. Sir HENRY CRAIK

asked whether the Government, in the event of the transfer of Westminster Hospital and the sale of the site, is prepared to enter into negotiations for its purchase on fair terms, for which the present restrictions on the use of the site afford opportunity, so that provision may be made, in the public interest, for such rearrangement of the frontage as may provide an adequate thoroughfare to Parliament Square from the West?

Mr. W. BENN

after full consideration His Majesty's Government have decided to take no steps for the acquisition of the site in question.
