§ The SECRETARY of STATE for the COLONIES (Mr. Harcourt)There has been an Interdepartmental conference with a view to considering how far it might be possible to restrict the demand for plumage by legislation in this country and the Colonies or by international agreement. The conference was, however, an informal one, and no report of its proceedings has been or will be published. I may add that I have not received any petition from the self-governing Dominions.
