asked whether he can state the day when the Inter-Departmental Committee on Fisheries will commence its sittings?

§ The CHANCELLOR of the DUCHY of LANCASTER (Mr. Hobhouse)
The Interdepartmental Committee on Fisheries commenced its sittings on 6th July.

§ Mr. MUNRO
May I ask when the first sitting for the purpose of taking evidence is likely to be held?

§ Mr. HOBHOUSE
It has already taken place—on 6th July.
