HC Deb 17 October 1912 vol 42 c1407
48. Mr. WHITEHOUSE

asked whether the right hon. Gentleman will give facilities during the present Session for the remaining stages of the Employment of Children (Amendment) Bill?

Mr. LLOYD GEORGE

I am not in a position to make any statement at present.

Mr. WHITEHOUSE

Will my right hon. Friend bear in mind that this Bill, as it emerged from the Grand Committee, is practically an agreed Bill? [HON. MEMBERS: "No."]

Mr. LLOYD GEORGE

I think the opposition aroused to that statement is ample proof that it is not an agreed Bill.
