HC Deb 25 November 1912 vol 44 cc796-7
21. Mr. CATHCART WASON

asked the Home Secretary if his attention has been directed to the danger of the crossing at Drummond's Bank; and if he will make inquiry with the view of stationing a police officer there for the protection of foot passengers?

Mr. McKENNA

The Commissioner of Police informs me that a constable is as a rule stationed at this point during the busy hours, that is, between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. and the Council of the City of Westminster have been asked to provide a refuge in the centre of the roadway.
