Mr. WEDGWOODasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies, whether it is contemplated to grant to any suitable applicant the privilege of being the sole manufacturer of palm oil throughout any 300 square miles of the Gold Coast Colony; whether these special privileges are to continue to be granted to all and sundry even after the industry has been proved and established; and whether the privileges will be put up to public tender and granted to the highest bidder.
