Mr. BAKERThe Secretary of State in Council sanctioned on 30th July, 1912, the 1789 payment from Indian revenues of the actual travelling expenses of the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State and a Grant of £100 a month to cover his subsistence and other personal expenses. The answer to the third part of the question is in the negative. The instructions to make no payment were given to the Accountant-General on 20th September.
