§ 50. Mr. GODFREY LOCKER-LAMPSONasked whether Sir Steyning Edgerley has expressed any objection to the publication of the evidence he gave before the Committee on Irish finance?
§ The PRIME MINISTERIt would obviously be invidious to state the views of the several witnesses with regard to the publication of their evidence, and I am not prepared to do so.
§ Mr. G. LOCKER-LAMPSONIs it not the fact that the evidence of Sir Steyning Edgerley, or a great part of it, was in direct conflict with some of the financial provisions of the Government of Ireland Bill?
§ The PRIME MINISTERIf the hon. Gentleman looks at the Report of the Committee, he will see what they say on that subject.
