§ Mr. RUNCIMANI have appointed Mr. J. C. F. Fryer to be the chief entomoligst of the horticultural branch of the Board, at a salary of £500 a year rising by annual increments to £700. There remain to be filled one general inspectorship and two inspectorships, one of which became vacant only a week ago.
