HC Deb 04 November 1912 vol 43 cc841-2
81. Mr. KEBTY-FLETCHER

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he proposes to put a tax on raw cotton; and what are his proposals to increase the recent taxes on agricultural and horticultural land, which is the raw material of food?

Mr. LLOYD GEORGE

The answer to the first part of the question is in the negative; as to the second, I do not know to what proposals the hon. Member refers.

Mr. KEBTY-FLETCHER

I will raise this question at the first opportunity.
