HC Deb 16 May 1912 vol 38 c1272
Mr. RUPERT GWYNME

asked the First Lord of the Admiralty whether he will consider the desirability of granting medals for long service and good conduct, with a gratuity to those men in the Royal Fleet Reserve who have served fifteen years' combined service, on the same terms as are granted at the present time to men in the Territorial Force?

Mr. CHURCHILL

Men in the Royal Fleet Reserve are already eligible for Reserve pensions and gratuities on discharge. It is not proposed to grant medals for combined service in the Royal Navy and Royal Fleet Reserve.
