§ Mr. CREANasked the Postmaster-General whether all contractors to the Post Office are obliged to pay the standard rate of pay according to the Fair-Wage Resolution of the House of Commons; whether the contractor for cycle repairs to the Bandon (county Cork) post office is not paying even half the minimum wage to his employés as is paid in the nearest town; and whether he will compel this contractor to pay at least the minimum wage to his workmen or terminate the contract?
