§ Mr. TOUCHEasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies if he has any information that attempts are being made by the Millers' National Federation (an organisation of the United States millers) or others to get the Government of the United States to discriminate against the British West Indian Colonies, because of these Colonies having arranged a reciprocity agreement with Canada; and, if the Government has not been advised on the subject, will they make inquiries with a view to the protection of British interests?
§ Sir E. GREYThis question has been referred to me by my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for the Colonies, but I have no information on the subject. Inquiries will, however, be made of His Majesty's Embassy in Washington.
