HC Deb 14 May 1912 vol 38 cc955-6
Mr. AUSTEN CHAMBERLAIN

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will grant the Return standing in the name of the Member for East Worcestershire for Thursday, 16th May?

The CHANCELLOR of the EXCHEQUER (Mr. Lloyd George)

At this stage I could not furnish the right hon. Gentleman with final figures for all the years asked for. I shall not be in a position, for reasons which have been explained to him, to do so for some months. But if the right hon. Gentleman presses for the Return now, then, subject to his accepting it as provisional, I shall have pleasure in granting it.
