HC Deb 13 May 1912 vol 38 cc767-8
Mr. CHARLES BATHURST

asked whether, in view of the damage to market garden and other crops caused by the descent upon them of aeroplanes and other aircraft, and of the crowds which, especially in the environs of London, collect round such machines, the Government will take any and, if any, what steps, by legislation or otherwise, to secure to the owners of such crops compensation for the loss thereby occasioned?

Mr. RUNCIMAN

I do not think any necessity has yet arisen for the intervention of the Government.
