HC Deb 09 May 1912 vol 38 c577
Mr. FREDERICK WHYTE

asked the Secretary to the Treasury whether he can state what progress has been made by the Scottish Insurance Commissioners under Section 13 (3) of the National Insurance Act; whether any societies in Scotland have submitted schemes for the provision of alternative benefits; and when the full material for the actuarial calculations which he has promised will be in the hands of those societies which desire to make the provision referred to?

The FINANCIAL SECRETARY to the TREASURY (Mr. Masterman)

The Reserve Value Tables for men have now been published, and I hope that those for women will be ready in about a fortnight. No societies in Scotland have submitted schemes for the provision of alternative benefits.
