Mr. STAVELEY-HILL

asked whether the Members of the Irish House of Commons summoned to the Commons House of Parliament of the United Kingdom, under Clause 26 (3) of the Government of Ireland Bill, will be entitled to such payment for their services as may be at that time given to Members of the Commons House of Parliament of the United Kingdom?

The PRIME MINISTER

If and when special representatives of Ireland are summoned under the provisions of Clause 26 (3) of the Bill, it will be for the House to determine what salary, if any, should be-paid to them.
