HC Deb 09 May 1912 vol 38 cc578-9
Mr. CHARLES BATHURST

asked the Secretary to the Treasury whether the fact that a society has itself become an approved society under the National Insurance Act will prevent such society from subsequently becoming a branch of another approved society?

Mr. MASTERMAN

No, Sir. The fact that a society has obtained approval will not debar it from entering hereafter into union with other societies by amalgamation or otherwise if experience shows that such a course is desirable.
