HC Deb 28 March 1912 vol 36 cc595-6
Mr. BRIDGEMAN

May I ask the Home Secretary if he can give the House any information as to reported disturbances at Brynkinalt colliery?

Mr. McKENNA

Reports which I have received from the Chief Constable show that forty constables which he had yesterday at the pit were sufficient to protect the miners against a hostile demonstration which took place. He has received the promise of further police reinforcements from neighbouring counties.
